Here we go again chap’s, the 2019 season will be up and running from the 8th of March and hopefully the snow-bomb from the east will be a past and distant memory, with a fresh but sunny day awaiting our arrival at Heyrose.

The anticipation of everyone wanting to start the season with a good first round of golf, then having a great season ahead of them, hoping to lift the order of merit on that final evening on the 13th of September, maybe after a couple podium finishes and a winners trophy along the way, who knows, That golfer could be you?

The course at Heyrose Golf Club is one of the most respected and established in Cheshire.

Set in tranquil parkland and full of wildlife this course cannot be beaten on quality. Unlike others it is playable in all but the most adverse of conditions, with ancient woodland and water features this is a course to enjoy.

Heyrose is one of the most professionally maintained and managed courses of it’s kind, their Course Manager, Stephen Hartshorn, is highly qualified in the industry ensuring the course is kept to the highest standard year round. The course has been adapted over recent years so it challenges the experienced golfer and rewards the beginner. The magnificent course, manicured to the highest standard is inevitability the main attraction at Heyrose and obviously the most important. Our course is considered one of the best in the North West and has been adapted to make it playable in most weather conditions. There is as much to challenge the low handicap golfer as there is to reward the enthusiastic beginner.

The fabulous 12-bay Driving Range provides the perfect place to practise your swing before a round. This factility is open to members and non-members and is just £1 for 20 balls.

The course, clubhouse, fantastic food and atmosphere ensures an excellent visit everytime. Being located close to the M6 and M56 means we are easily accessible from all over the North West.

The day will start at around 09:00 with a full English breakfast and coffee, 10:00 is the first tee for 18 holes of golf followed by a 1 course meal, Bangers & Mash, peas and onion gravy.

Weather………..From my point of view, this is the best time of the year. I don’t love heat, I’m a winter person, so if there’s a ‘Cruel Summer’ like last year then there’s got to be a ‘Cruel Winter,’ right? That’s all I’m saying.

Fourballs will be posted on the website no later than Wednesday 6th of March, please see the list below for those attending, if you’re on the list and can’t make it or if you’re not on the list and would like to attend please let me know ASAP.
