Caernarfon Hotels and Golf 2020

Caernarfon 2020

The Royal Town of Caernarfon Golf Club has now been booked for two days golf on Friday the 2nd and Saturday the 3rd of October 2020.

My lovely wife has agreed that we can have a nice weekend away in Caernarfon towards the middle of May for her birthday treat and she’s allowing me a short window of one hour on our first day there to go and sort all the golf out, pay deposits, pick the cards up and have a quick Yaki Da (don’t think I’ve spelt that right Roy but you know what I mean) with the Pro, so I will be booking the number of tee’s required within that window (I’m sure I’ll be able to stretch the allotted time a little bit) therefore could you let me know if you will be attending before the 15th of May please? I will require a £20.00 deposit to secure your golf tee.

I have already got 12 names down which is a 100% increase on Scarborough, although, I’m not getting too excited as the same happened last year and come the 15th of May I’ll probably be in the same position and reducing numbers again due to the lack of deposits paid.

If you are interested then the best hotel I have found for you is the Celtic Royal, it’s in town, across the road from the Hotel Chuckie and I are staying in, has plenty of car parking and is only 10 minutes from the course (really Cuddly it is)

Twin rooms at the Celtic Royal from Thursday the 1st to Sunday the 4th will cost you £165.00 per person B&B, So with 2 days golf costing £65 the weekend away will cost a total of £230.00. If you fancy it give the hotel a call and book your rooms, the link is on the Dates section and contact information is as follows:

The Celtic Royal Hotel, Bangor Street, Caernarfon, Gwynedd, North Wales, LL55 1AY.

I’ll be going on Wednesday the 30th of September with Chuckie, so anyone else who fancies seeing the local attractions, getting a bus to Bangor for the day on the Thursday, having a bag of chips on the sea front and maybe a pint or two are more than welcome to come and join us.

Friday night is curry night and there are two decent curry houses nearby, the Curry Scene is only a 1 minute walk from the hotel and the Bengal Spice is only a 5 minute walk, both are highly reccomended for their food and service, so when I’m there in May I’ll give them both a good coat of looking at, then after sampling the food and drink, the hospitality and soaking up the ambiance with er indoors, oh, and ensuring they sell popadoms for Chuckie, I’ll make a decision and book a table for everyone attending in October, happy days.

Be nice to see you there.

Mr Secretary.
